Rodgers Or Roethlisberger: How XLV Will Be Won
By: Ryan Sayler

This year's Super Bowl depends on the blatantly obvious; the quarterbacks. As far as I am concerned, a quarterback is the reason the Jets are not playing the Packers on Sunday, so it is then fair to say that a quarterback is the reason the Steelers are.
The Packers defense is good, but I am not even sure the cheese-heads would have made the playoffs without the hot hand of Aaron Rodgers. So, ifso facto, Rodgers and Roethlisberger are the reasons their teams are playing in the last game of the season.
And they will be the reason for that game being won or lost.
First Roethlisberger. The obvious rebuttal is to point at his dominant defense and reliable running game and genius coaching and legendary owners and the terrible towel and all the other reasons why this is not his team.
Well, it is his team and the second he leaves Pittsburgh is going to be a dark one for the Steelers.
Roethlisberger is the glue that holds the team together down the stretch. They may have been able to win three out of their first four games with out him, however there is no chance they could have done the same with their last four.
Big Ben is an elite NFL quarterback who comes through in the clutch in a Brady/Montana-like fashion. If he plays smart on Sunday and keeps the game within reach, I will guarantee the Steelers pull it off.
Now for Rodgers. Rodgers has been on a hot streak unlike any other that we have seen in a long time. He is utilizing every ounce of talent he has at receiver and is making it look easy.
Sure, the Packers barely made it in as the #6 seed, but they have played like the #1 seed every game. Remaining completely in control and easily winning 3 playoff-road games in a row.
If they want to make it four, Rodgers needs to put the Steelers away early. If Rodgers starts slow and tries to win it in the end, the experienced Steelers will embarrass him. However, if Rodgers shows up ready to sling, he has the talent to win the Super Bowl within the first quarter.
Whomever wins, that quarterback will have an extra boost to their legend. The showdown in Dallas is going to be a duel like Texas has never seen.
