Randy Moss Part Three: Worth It In Tennessee?
By: Ryan Sayler

As if we haven't talked about Randy Moss enough in the last decade, the hall of fame receiver will now join his third team of the season in week 10. Not only that, Moss will start opposite of Nate Washington for the Tennessee Titans this Sunday in Miami.
So what can we expect from Moss as he dons the Titan uniform? From a fantasy standpoint, this might be his most successful stop of the season yet. This could be a very productive situation that Moss is stepping in to.
The Titans are in desperate need of a #1 receiver after breakout Kenny Britt had a season ending injury. Britt was having a ton of success in the Titans offensive scheme, and it appears that Moss could do likewise.
Britt, like Moss, was utilized mainly as a deep threat for the big arm of quarterback Vince Young. No one has ever doubted Young's deep ball as much as they have questioned his ability to thread the accurate passes over the middle and to the sidelines. With Moss, there is no question.
Moss will be used primarily as his strengths dictate, to stretch the defense deep. The Titans will want to do this in order to give star running back Chris Johnson more open space to work with. Make no mistake, Johnson is still the work horse of this offense, that could still benefit Moss.
While defenses will still have to play safeties semi-shallow in order to contain Johnson from breaking out of the second level, Moss will have multiple opportunities to get behind the coverage. From there, all Young has to do is close his eyes and throw it in the general area.
As long as it is a play that Moss has chosen to show up for, he could benefit the end of Titans season.
